It will fit any Canon camera and will do great. I use it on a 5D full frame and a 30D which is not full frame a the results are virtually the same. Great image quality. I have two of them and just decided I did not need both any more with the other lenses I have now.

You mentioned that it’s for a full frame camera…will it not fit the 7D?
