David & Jessica

Wow, it  feels like awhile that I’ve blogged. Maybe it’s just because so much is going on in our personal lives right now. We just closed on our very first home this week, so life has kicked up a notch until we move, at least.  I don’t know how often I will be able to post until after the dust settles.

At any rate, we are having some weddings in my family this summer, and this past weekend was one of them. We celebrated with David and Jessica in DE!  Daryl and I did their wedding images. It was a little tricky, but not too bad, being a photographer and a family member all in the same day. The really tricky part was also being a parent, and I’m SO glad I enlisted the help of a friend as nanny for the day!All in all, with her help, it went much smoother then I thought it might!

As per their request, here are a few shots for them to share with some friends they are seeing on their trip.  I don’t usually blog out of turn like this, but since it’s my sibling, and since these are also my personal pictures from my brothers wedding, here they are!  Oh, and Bill and Judith, if you see these, here’s a big Hi from Lancaster PA!

David and Jessica had absolutely stunning weather for their photo shoot! I was so afraid we’d melt in the Eastern Shore heat, but it was actually fabulous all around!
