So we really really love when one happy bride/couple tells another couple about us and we are enlisted to do their wedding. You get to meet some really awesome people that way, that you prly never would have crossed paths w/ otherwise. Such was the case w/ Josiah and Valerie. What a sweet amazing couple, as much so as his cousin who referred them to us! Thanks so much guys, for inviting us to be a part of your day.
This is one of the weddings that happened over the time of our house purchase/moving time, so we didn’t get around to blogging it before now:-) We certainly didn’t want to skip over it, because it truly was a sweet event to be a part of.
As I chose images to blog, I didn’t know where to begin…or end!
To start, of course the weather was rainy rainy rainy over the time allotted for pictures. Now the really tough part was the fact that this was an outside event…an evening wedding on the lawn of a beautiful bed and breakfast, complete w/ a desert reception. Rain just would not do, Not at all! Josiah had a deep faith that it was not going to rain. He prayed hard for beautiful weather, and altho it poured over picture time, it turned into an absolutely beautiful wedding evening. What an amazing wedding gift from God!
Without further explanation, here are the happy two:

I loved this garden shed, so Valerie braved the rain for a few shots w/ it!

Beautiful rainy day wedding images, is all I can say.
Totally loved her esemble! It all went so well together–the pearls, the hair, the dress……the bride! It seemed to reflect her style well.
All I can say is, I could have shot her all day!

Rain, rain go away. This was on the beautiful veranda where tables were then set up for the reception time.

And the weather begin to take a turn for the better!!!

Happy girlies in vibrant colors.

and the wedding ceremony took place on a balmy beautiful Friday evening as the sun set and the breezes whispered in the trees. It truly was amazing!

As evening faded into night, the guest laughed and talked by the twinkling lights of the veranda and the tiki torches tucked everywhere. I think if I would redo my wedding, this would be my reception of choice.
